People ask me what makes online coaching different from a workout PDF and a good playlist. The honest answer is: the first two weeks. Anyone can send you a program. Very few people will sit with you for the ninety minutes it takes to build a plan that actually fits your life. That is where the Five Ps live.
P1 — Preparation: the intake
Before you touch a barbell, we walk through the whole day. Wake time. Commute. When you eat. When you can't eat. What your partner cooks. What your kids' schedule steals from you. Where the gym is. Where the gym is not. If we do not build the plan around the day you already have, the plan loses to the day every single time.
P2 — Programming: the honest first week
Week one is deliberately under-dosed. Three sessions, forty minutes each, RPE 6-7. I want you to finish every session thinking you could have done more. That is the point. We are building the habit before we build the stimulus. In week two we add the fourth day and creep the intensity. By week four you are running at the level a normal coach would have started you at — but you are still there, still consistent, and now you trust the process.
P3 — Prevention: mobility and sleep
The best program is the one you can execute for twelve straight weeks with no missed sessions. Every rehab specialist I have ever worked with says the same thing: injuries come from load spikes, poor sleep, and neglected tissue. So we cap load spikes at ten percent per week, we track sleep in the check-in, and we build ten minutes of mobility into every warm-up. Not sexy. Deeply effective.
P4 — Performance: the numbers
We track four numbers weekly: bodyweight (7-day average), waist and hip circumference, session RPE, and a strength benchmark on one main lift. That is it. No obsessing over the daily scale. No twenty-eight metric dashboard. If those four numbers are moving in the right direction, we are winning. If they stall for two weeks, we intervene.
You cannot out-hustle a plan that does not match your day. Fix the plan.
P5 — Persistence: the check-in
Every Sunday, ten minutes. Voice memo or video. You send me the four numbers, a short note on the week, and one thing that got in the way. I send you the next week's plan and one thing to fix. That is the whole loop. It is small on purpose. Big check-ins get skipped. Small check-ins get done. Twelve of them in a row is where the transformation lives.
This is what Signal buys you
Signal is my twelve-week online build. It is not a PDF. It is a coach in your pocket, a plan that fits your calendar, and a Sunday check-in that keeps you accountable without judgment. If that sounds like what you have been missing, the door is open.
